今日の英会話スクールは5期の10/27回でUNIT20の「IT'S VERY COMMON TO GIVE MONEY」です。始めに「How was your weekend?」や「What's new?」と聞かれるので、その回答を少しだけ考えておきます。
I watched many turtles. But in the sea is very cold. And When we entered a cave, I watched about 2 meters shark.
I took 6 hours 50 minutes. When I was running, I tought I hestiate to join a full marathon race never again. But now I want to do. Human is good at forgetting painful memory. I want to experience a feeling of satisfaction.
レッスンでは40分ほどfree conversationをして、テキストに入りました。今回は「傾向」について言い換えです。
「British people tend to eat a lot of potatoes」
「American generally spend Thanksgiving at home.」
「It' very common for Japanese to give money at New Year.」
「Most English people tend to think they aren't European.」
「It's unusual for English people to speak foreign languages.」
全て「多くの日本人は～する傾向がある」という意味があります。外国人に日本人の特徴を話すときに役立ちそうです。
また、レッスン中にいくつかの英文も使いました。意外とこのような積み重ねが記憶に残っていきます。
「Was it harder than you expect?」
「How many times did you run marathon?」
「Only Child are selfish.」
